How To Use Passless
Passless helps you create strong passwords you can recreate anytime. You do not need to remember the password
itself, only your settings.
- Username: your login name. Example:
anna.smith.
- Site or keyword: what account this is for. Example:
gmail.com or
my-bank.
- Secret phrase: your private phrase only you know. Example:
Blue coffee morning 42.
- Version: keep as
1 at first. If a site asks you to change your password later,
set it to 2.
- Password length: use the slider or number box. Longer usually means stronger.
- Character options: choose letters, numbers, and symbols based on site rules.
- Themes: change colors to what is easiest for your eyes.
Benefits: no password storage needed, works offline, and gives the same result every time for the same inputs.
You can keep the same Username and Secret phrase for many accounts. Usually
only the Site or keyword changes between websites.
Tip: keep your secret phrase private and use a consistent pattern so you can regenerate passwords later.
